<< Javad wrote a bunch of stuff down there...Good stuff. I just have a little
to add. If you use the EV block, it is a tiny bit taller. This means
changing some of the downpipe stuff, not a big deal.>>
Yup, that's right
<< It also means that you
can use a longer rod, and have a better rod ratio than using the big crank
in the little block.>>
Well, I was referring mostly to using the 95.5mm crank in the standard block,
if using the EV block it opens up some options, then you can mix and match
all kinds of options.

Ya, its about 10mm or so.
<< Now you're getting into really
$$$ stuff with new rods and pistons.....I'm going to do some digging, and
see if the EV could possibly be populated with turbo rods and pistons
cheaply,>>
Well, they won't bolt in, that's for sure, the EV uses a 156mm rod
<< but from what I've dug up so far, it looks unlikely. And it's also
unlikely that the stock EV pistons and rods could stand up to power levels
past what a reasonably built MC motor can do.

Yes, considering the 10:1 compression, definitely will have to be lowered.
