Yes, but I don't think it picks up rpm information the exact same way as the
MC, in the other NA applications this would be irrelevant though.

Sure, I"ve driven some Eurovan motor conversions, they rev just like a 2.2,
real torquey down low, nice motors.  The short block conversion may be
different, though, as you will end up with much shorter rods than the EV
block has.
