Both laws are unique to North America.  Wandering around with devices
specifically designed to blow your neighbours to bits is in direct
contravention of the Old and New Testaments, and not being allowed to
hang around outside a hostelry with a beer on a warm summer day is a
violation of ALL the laws of nature.

But then again - when US lawmakers really get into gear, what do they
come up with?  DOT headlights, that's what!
