first S4 drive

I took a 94 S4 out for a spin a few days ago. I have been considering
getting an S4 or S6 as my next Audi, but I never drove one. I have had 6
Audis so far including my current 88 5ktq and my 90 V8q, and I thought
it's time to see what it's like to drive an S-car.

I have to admit my first drive was a disappointing one. Considering that
  an S4 roughly costs about 3 times more than my 5ktq, I didn't feel
like it's worth it. This particular car was chipped, but the dealer
didn't know what kind it was. It pulled nicely and smoothly to redline,
but it sure didn't feel like 280 HP.

Unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to take the car for a "real"
test drive, and I enjoy the interior, and I also like the exterior look
of the car (mind you I would probably want to lower it , and add the
Euro front grill). Still, I am not sure the car is worth the money,
especially considering that I can get a 97 S8 for a few thousand more,
or a 20v 200 for about half.
