Unless it had be a boost gauge(I don't remember which years S4/S6 had
it, which ones didn't), there's no way to be certain it was making
full boost.  Chipped, it should be as fast as a '01 S4, maybe a tad
slower.  It certainly should have been faster than your V8, by a long
shot...
