4kq top speed & gears

Funny, no one mentioned that...the assertion was that a turbo converted 4ktq
will.  Also, your '84 has even shorter gearing that the later 4kq's...ahh,
details.

<< Funny that you even mention that, My 84' 4KQ will not even redline. My car
 seems to max out @ 5000 rpm. Don't get me wrong she has torque but by no
 means will it reach close to its' redline marking. I advanced the timing by
 12 degrees and sh idles @ 1100 rpm. Steer me in the right direction. She'll
 cruise but to me she's a city car or possible sprint project. Nowhere close
 to a autobahn hauler.
