Hi-
A bunch of listers expressed interest in this car, located in
suburban Philadelphia, PA.
I met Steve today (nice guy) and took a look and drive of his
car.
Let me just say that I was impressed- the car is extremely clean-
no dents or dings in the bodywork, very minor stone chip damage to
the leading edge of the hood (my car doesn't look this nice),
exquisitely clean black paint.
The grey interior is also very clean and well-maintained.
Everything works, with the exception of the cruise control, which I
did not try, but was told does not work. The rear fog is also
inoperative,
but Steve told me he'd address that problem.
This car appears to be maintained to an extremely high standard-
the engine bay is immaculate, the undercarriage is very clean (no
leaks or drips that I saw), the car does not appear to have seen much
salt, as the underbody hardware is quite clean and corrosion-free.
The car drives great- the engine pulls 1.8 bar and pulls strongly,
the suspension is very tight the brakes are very solid and shudder-free.
There is some pitting of the windshield and the headlights.
Steve said the car was garage-kept for its entire life and it looks the
part- it makes me feel bad that my car sits outside all day long.
Although the asking price is a bit high, the car is in better condition
than my 200q and has some nice upgrades done to it. The Bose stereo is
still
there, but it is in good condition and sounds decent. The car has not
been
chipped.
Original ad follows below. The usual disclaimers apply- I have no
affiliation
w/ Steve, no guarantees, etc.

1991 200TQ Sedan Black/Gray $9950
Item #1142
Contact: Steve Bednarski Ad Date: February 13, 2002
Price: $9950 Location: Chadds Ford, PA
Description
This 1991 200TQ sedan comes in the very desirable color combination
of high-gloss black with gray leather comfort interior. It has
105,000 miles and runs superbly. Most importantly, this black
beauty has a number of positive modifications that make its
purchase quite compelling. These include: European headlights with
the correct relay harness installed, Bilstein sport shocks with H&R
springs, Bernie strut brace, professional cold-air intake using
factory airbox, rear trunk springs replaced with gas-strut
cartridges as used in the later series V8's, Nardi wood shift knob,
royal blue Quattro floormats, rear V8 tail-lights and so on. These
are all tasteful mods that maintain the 20V Turbo Quattro's eminent
sophistication while providing greater safety, improved looks, and
better performance. All maintenance is up to date including new
timing belt and water pump. The oil used is Mobil1 0W40 (which is
the factory fill for the 2002 Porsche 911 turbo). Transmission and
differential fluid have been changed to Redline synthetic. Brake
fluid replaced with ATE Super Blue. Even the UFO rotors are brand
new (not rebuilt or turned) factory parts. They stop the car straight
and true, and work much better than the underpowered G60 retrofit.
Full maintenance records are included with purchase. The car comes
with the stock wheels and tires. (The 17" wheels and tires as pictured
have been sold.) I have other 17" wheels and tires that would be
available at extra cost. Yes, you can buy a 200TQ for less, but add
the Euro lights($800), V8 taillights($400), Bilstein/H&R suspension
($1000),not to mention the new timing belt, water pump, brakes, radiator,
and so on - and you'll still not have a car in as beautiful a shape as
this one.
