Cold Start Prob - Fuel Distributor

Last month, I found a pool of fuel beneath my car ('87 4kcsq). I took it t=
o a repair shop and they determined the problem was with the fuel distribut=
or. Instead of getting a "new" one, they suggested I opt for the pick-n-pu=
ll distributor.

They did the pulling, and put a used distributor on the car.

Now, I'm having cold start problems. I searched on the audifan archives an=
d found a common villian of cold-start problems is the fuel distributor. S=
ince I just had someone fiddle with this part, I figure that's the culprit.

My question, before I bring it back in to have them look at it, is how exac=
tly does the distributor cause problems? What should I advise the shop to =
do to my car?

Thanks,

Jeremy
