EFI systems?

Why bother? Are there limitations to the Bosch EFI that I am unaware
of?

MTM has A4 1.8Ts that are over 400hp w/ stock engine management systems
(not the software inside, of course).

The biggest problem w/ custom EFI setups is the tuning- some of the
systems
like the Haltech have so many parameters that can be tweaked that if you
don't have a good technician versed in the EFI system along with the
facilities
to properly tune the EFI, you'll have a hard time getting the stuff
running.

IMHO, you're better off dumping several thousand dollars into something
else
that will gain more power, such as APR Stage III+ to start off with, or
MTM's
380hp kit.
