Rally Light Bar help needed ASAP (LAC)

the bumper re-bar is made of aluminum, as far as I can recall.  Easy to
drill, maybe a bolt mount would be easier than welding steel to it
though.

might work

how about something involving the stock bumper mounting area?  Some nice
holes, attached sturdily to frame.

You could mount the bracket between the bumper mounts and the frame,
then tighten the bumper bolts back up and weld your way out to where you
need to be for the bar.

If you want to pull the bumper forward a bit to do this there are two
"extra" bolts thru the frame into an extension of the bumper mount about
6-8" back from the other three on each side.  undo them too.

I guess you might have to sacrifice the integrity of the little trim
piece between bumper and grill, but I suspect you're gonna do that
anyway!
