also, I had trouble with the actual plug-in thing that attaches the
wires to the bulb holder, eventual solution was to splice in the wires
and connectors, from the left rear of the trunk onwards, from a later
model. My donor was an '87.5, not sure when they improved them (the
early ones are two piece, and depend on two sets of connections being
made to send the juice over to the right side, the later ones are one
piece and the right side gets power no matter what is happening on the
left)
