front seat interchangeability?

Tom,

Seats are interchangeable between 5000, 100, and 200 models.  Usually the
upgrade is to fit 200(generally in better shape) seats into the usually
trashed seats found in otherwise good shape 5000's (BTDTx2).

There are some wiring changes to complicate matters when going from around
pre '88 to post, but they are not show stoppers - just make sure you get the
harness/connectors from the donor car.

[Looking for comments on whether any models permit switching of front seats,
either
simply - or with some modification.  So often I find cars with trashed
driver's seats
or bolsters where the pax seat is almost pristine.  Without looking very
closely, it
seems some manual seats might permit exchange of either seat bottom or back
(although
lumbar support adjuster wheels would be on the wrong side).  Didn't find
much in the
archieves about this subject.
