the archives are full of talk about this... your switch is shot, its
connector may be also, and relays for the headlights and probably the
parking lights are the solution.

Um, you gotta pull out the little grille thing, carefully, that will get
you closer to the flap. Not sure if they are available new still, I
know I once bought a junk '80 4kd to get that part (and a grille logo).
You could also try manually pushing the flap nice and tight while the
grille is off, see if that helps for now.
