4kq and issues

Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money on an Ansa muffler (Blau sells 'em). The systems often crack at the junction of pipe and muffler. I've experienced the
failure myself in the rear segment at 30K miles -- very frustrating. Some E30 BMW owners have experienced similar problems with cat-back Ansas. The pipes look
corrosion-free, but metal fatigue kills 'em. Bosal also makes a replacement system, but they aren't cheap. Check with Rod at www.thepartsconnection.com ; he claims
they're very sturdy.
You can also search out a custom exhaust shop in your town -- that's probably the cheapest option of all.
