Turbo Heat Shield...

Patient is an '88 5ktq.

Replaced the turbo over the course of the last many weeks.  I had not serio=
usly looked down there under the intake manifold, even when I replaced the =
O2 sensor -- I was pleasantly surprised to find a 2 piece EM attached to th=
e head.

I am to the point of re-installing the two heat shields.  I know how to pla=
ce and attach the rear one, near/behind the wastegate.  The front one has m=
e baffled.  Anyone up to describing how and where the front heat shield is =
oriented and fastened?

I remember a circular notch, and I remember the notch being just barely eno=
ugh of a notch to clear something to get the front heat shield out, but I f=
or the life of me can't figure out where it goes and how.  The Bentley and =
Family Album don't seem to have a picture or any other help in this matter.

Thanks in advance.  I feel like a bozo for not taking better notes when I t=
ook the thing apart.
