4kq ---> air intakes

None of that sounds quite like my 84, which just had a T shaped tube
coming out of the airbox (in addition to the hot air inlet). You can
see it here: http://lah-electra.stanford.edu/quattro.html. There's a
hole in the fender behind the bumper, but no sign a of a tube going
there.
On my "new" 5ktq I noticed something else. There a piece of plastic
behind the air dam that has ~2" diameter fitting coming straight back
from it, but nothing attached. The air box just has this saxaphone
looking thing coming out, but it doesn't go near any fresh air. Is
that correct?
