Help - Replacing hydraulic tappets/lifters

Paul:

You don't necessarily have to remove the timing gear
wheel from the cam but you will have to remove the cam
itself (there is a certain sequence to removing the
bolts that hold the cam in the head). If the cam lobes
show no indication of excessive wear they are OK.

The lifters are meant to be stored upside down....just
install them and they'll naturally bleed down.


Soundz like you should make an investment into a
Bentley manual !!
