Switching speedo needles

I removed it on my 200tq '89 from third attempt. Twice I tried to pull it off
without any success. Third time it came off easily (no tools, just hands). I did
not experiment any further to figure out why it was binding. The pin is
absolutly straight, no notches. It seems to me it just tight hole in plastic.
Maybe you can try to apply a drop of penetrating oil and pull gently while
wiggling?
Good luck.
