Hi Marc,
I can see where Scott's coming from. In yours and Javad's cases, the car
being operated on is your own. In Scott's case, they belong to paying
customers who would be probably pissed to find a leaky whatever after
having paid whatever for new lifters/gaskets/etc. He has to stay close to
the book because return visits are warranty repairs that eat up his time
and money.
