Subject: 5000CS Rear Window Heater Switch

Can someone tell me the general approach to remove the
rear window
defroster switch from the dashboard on a 1989 5000 CS. This info
does not
seem to be included in the official shop manual I have.


They pry out.  And pop in.  Look at the new one to see how this works.  The
blank covers in that panel also pry out and pop in.  Take one of those out
if you're anxious about breaking something and to give you access to the
side of the switch.
