Unless you know a car you are considering to buy so well you can trust
your own judgement, do not, repeat *do not* buy it without a having a
qualified mechanic do a "pre-purchase inspection." They won't
necessarily find everything that might be or go wrong, but they will
certainly get a good general picture of the cars mechanical condition
for you. It helps if they are familiar with Audis, but even if they
aren't, it's the smart thing to do.
