I just spent 20 out of the past 72 hours in the presence of two original
coupe GT seats, one to sit in and one to look at. They're VERY good seats,
even though the driver's seat in this one now has more duct tape on it than
vinyl -- the shape, support and long-distance comfort is unbeatable.
BTW: on the way home I made the trip from Mountain View, California to
Portland, Oregon with one gas stop. Filled up at the Shell station at The
Americana and El Camino; filled up again at the Chevron station in Weed;
next stop: my driveway. And I'm sure I don't have to tell anyone with an
old Audi why I have no idea what the actual miles covered were... :-)

The adjuster is in fact on the inside -- driver (in the US) uses the right
arm to adjust rake, passenger uses the left.
An armrest would be nice at times. I enjoy lowering the armrest in my
wife's 100CSQ, but then it's a slushbox so I have never whacked my elbow
while trying for a fast downshift, which would be a concern with the CGT.
