Hi Y'all,
Been thinkin'. And that gets me in trouble almost every time.
Living in WV and spending quite a bit of time of VA roads where Electronic
Counter Measures (V1, etc.) are illegal I have been trying to figure out a
non-typical and therefore rather stealthy location for a new V1 when I get
one. I think I have a good idea if it is electronically feasible. I need
advice from some of you electronics experts out there.
What would be the effect of attaching the V1 to the interior portion of my
thru-the-glass cell phone antenna? This location, up high in the center of
the rear window would provide decent line of sight views of the road both
front and rear and, combined with a remote display mounted inside the
instrument cluster, would provide a somewhat different and therefore
perhaps unsuspected location for a RD. Would the RD interfere with the
cell phone? Would the cell phone interfere with the RD? Any other
problems laying in wait for me? (Besides the VA REOs.)
Bob
