Here's a question...
A while back, I read some banter about how the V8 taillights could be
used on the 4kq's if the center section of the trunk assembly (of the
lights) was shortened. Not really wanting to drop the money for a set of
V8 taillights, I didn't pursue the issue any more.

So the question is, has anyone actually done this, and verified it
works?  I didn't care as much before, but if Paul can get the whole
setup for $35 plus shipping (even if shipping is double the parts cost
or whatever) it's not a bad deal at all, and I think my car would look
awfully snazzy...
