On my 4kq when the stock paper fronts blew there were two choices, removing
the whole dash assembly to replace them or go medieval with the dremel. The
chose the latter and it ended up working out so I could use the old speaker
plastic mounts as a mounting platform for my new speakers. On the 4000 the
rears were cake. I would assume the 80q would be similar. Aftermarket
speakers will sound better with an after market deck but will sound OK on
the fact deck.
