I wonder if our mechanic friend is really talking about rounding out
the _HEAD_ of the Allen screw?
In which case he should make up the special 141mm long 6mm ball-end
key I describe on http://www.isham-research.com/quattro/mb_head.html
and replace any doubtful screws - they're not expensive. It's amzing
how many people dourly insist on reusing any fastener that isn't
specifically an 'always renew' item, no matter what state they're in.
N 901 442 01 are just over GBP1 each over here.
I must rename that page - it now covers several I5 turbos, not just
the MB.
