I wrote Audi not dealer. Check your owner's/maintenance manual that
came w/ your wife's Avant. When the dealer replaces your timing belt
will that be covered under the extended warranty?

Actually my wife's A6Q Avant has 65K on it, and now has a leaky water
pump -
which is being replaced by warrantybynet.com. The dealer told me that we
may
as well do the timing belt at the same time, "since that ought to be
done at
60K" according to the dealer here in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Don't know - which dealer recommended 90K to you? I seem to have read
(on
the list?) that it *used* to be recommended at 90K, but the mileage has
been
reduced since the manual was printed to 60K. Any BTDT's?
