Can we please talk about A6 t-belt replacement intervals again???

I wouldn't go beyond 75k on a timing belt...Audi didn't provide a spec for
the 30valve motor in 97, and we had a customer with a 97 A6Q come in with a
snapped belt at 77000- it bent all 30 valves, and Audi politely told him to
screw himself when he inquire about compensation.  In 98, Audi
inconspicuously started putting little stickers under the hood recommending
replacement at 75000.
