[A4 1.8TQ] Tire Swap?

Hi all,

I've got some Continental studded snows off my wife's Mustang GT that I'm
not using anymore (with the arrival of a third vehicle, the Mustang no
longer ventures out into the snow :-)

They've got plenty of tread left. I'm wondering if it would be worth it to
swap them out with the crap (but brand new) BFG Touring T/A's that are on my
98 A4 1.8TQ? (Got 'em with the car when I bought it used this Fall).

The only issue as far as I can see is size. On the A4 now are the BFG's in
205/55-16, the Conti's are 215/55-16. I know it doesn't make sense to go to
a wider tire in the snow, but I'm thinking the M&S rating and studs will
more than make this up compared to the weak T/A's.

Comments? Opinions? Fit problems?
