What, if any, is Audi's liability if t-belt goes before recommended interval?

I don't have it in front of me, but I believe the owner's/maintenance
manual for my 98 A6 Avant recommends a 90k replacement interval for the
t-belt. If it goes before that would I have some recourse? Are there
any service bulletins or recalls on this matter? I now know what the
consensus on the list is, but what is Audi's (currently)? I know I'm
beating this issue to death but why are you right and Audi is wrong? No
offense guys..... no flames please :-). When it was 60k for all Audi's
in the past, some were saying to do it sooner cuz their cousin's belt
went at 35k miles. Then there was Joe RegularGuy who changed his at
100k and upon inspection the belt looked like it could have gone another
100k. I know I should stop being cheap and just have the damn thing
done, but I hate to replace stuff prematurely. It's bad enough that I
own an expensive car that requires expensive maintenance...... so why
spend it before I have to. TIA
