FW: Autocheck Warning Question

A short circuit is actually what the sensor is looking for. The wire in
the pad is closed (0 ohms) until the pad wears enough to break the
circuit, making it open (infinite ohms). The wires that are supposed to
be connected to OEM type pads need to be shorted together to shut off
"Charlie".
