That's why the word "fan" is derived from "fanatic."
Like I said, I've been a Red Sox fan for too long.
They've taught me to get my hopes up only to have
them dashed in an ugly way. It's a Pavlovian thing.

And I guess that applies to "Audi fan," too. You
finally get one thing fixed, it runs good for a
week (or a day), and Ka-Blewee! something else
goes "pop."
