V8Q v. 200 TQ brakes

The '90 V8 Quattro I'm looking at had its UFOs converted to
G60s by the dealer years ago. The G60s stop the car straight,
no pulsing in the pedal, no grabbing. But compared to the
brakes in my '89 200 TQ (218K miles), the V8 pedal doesn't
seem as firm, and it goes closer to the floor before it starts
to slow the car down. It "stops" with the pedal maybe an inch
or two above the floor. The "bomb" was recently replaced.

Is this normal?
Are the G60 brakes weaker than the brakes in a 200?
Is the pedal fell "mushier"?
Or is it just the extra weight of the V8 making them
seem that way?

Thank you for your consideration.
