William,
According to catalog.exist.ru (just paste that into your browser's http://
line), the MC engine on a 1989 100 Avant Turbo Quattro attaches to an AAH
transmission case. Should the catalog not give you adequate information,
then you might consider posting a question to the www.audifans.com web
group - there has got to be somebody there who has at least attempted what
you suggest. As a matter of fac, I'm cc'ing this post to the list. If
anybody can help William then reply to his address directly as a cc.
Cheers!
