Help the idle on my type 44 has gotten worse.

Hi Jason,

Sounds like your Idle switch is not signalling idle to the ECU.  The
Idle/WOT switch is a common failure.  However, it could also be
mis-adjusted.  You should be able to pull the connector and jumper the
correct two leads to test if  the idle switch is the problem -- a paper clip
will do as a jumper in this case.

All you type 44 owners should, just for fun, disconnect the connector to the
throttle switch and drive around the block.  The rpm behavoir is exactly
what Jason describes.
