Yup.  I think you can find the answer by hooking up an LED to the WGFV.  The
best way to set WG preload springs, is to dial it in just enough so the WGFV
operates the longest.  What you are experiencing is the ecu sensing the
faster boost ramp, and cropping the WGFV from adding boost vs the tabled
profile.
