Ticket Update - Final Brief for Review

Yeah pleading no contest immediately means the following:

$310 fine
8 points on my VT "virtual license"
10 day suspension of driving privileges in VT

God knows what my insurance company will do with my rates. I was not
traveling at nearly double the speed limit in a very sharp corner. I can
not argue this in any manner that will convince the court to get me off. In
court you are guilty or not guilty, no talking down a speed in court and the
officer (sergeant) does not want to talk deal with me. He has no idea what
my case is.

Every ticket MUST be fought. I have just learned that fact with this
present case. Because I did not contest a 2 point ticket I got in August I
am in trouble of getting a suspended license on my record, no thanks. I
should have contested the previous ticket because the officer visually
estimated my speed (required before using a radar reading) with his rear
view mirror. There are NO guidelines for doing that and he had no right to
rely on a radar reading based on his visual estimate in a rearview mirror.
Though that is said and done.

You will find me in court for every ticket I ever receive unless there is no
legal recourse. Because of this experience I am very well versed in federal
traffic guidelines, which everyone should know. I am now also very familiar
with VT laws regarding speeding and traffic control devices. It is all for
the better to know more about the laws that govern us.

We'll see what happens, but I sure ain't pleading no contest. If I am still
found guilty I will be working on my appeal immediately after. I do not
like finding I am a victim of contradicting and unjust laws, no matter how
small the fine. I never realized how crazy speed laws are until now. If I
don't win my appeal I will file a motion with the Supreme Court of VT to
re-evaluate their laws which contradict each other massively. On one hand
the specifically adopted MUTCD federal guidelines and then specifically
state towns do not have to follow it's procedures for setting speed,
completely ludicrous and designed to save the state money that it should be
giving to the towns to perform state funded engineering studies. Plus it
allows towns to have speed traps such as on the road I was on, 50mph - 85%
speed and they set it 15mph under?!

Sorry for the rant...
