A mouse in the heater? (88 90q)

Marc,
I have currently the same problem on my wifes 88 90q
I have found out..after taking the dam thing
apart..two things 1) motor bearing is shot...2)their
is a resistor associated with the motor that also
needs replacement..
Blau has information on this topic ...seems this
occurs regularly...the the whole thing to fix I
believe costs about 120 bucks..

one other thing it gets worst over time..i have now
lost the first two fan speeds....and when it's really
cold it screams and does solos impersenations of
Pavaroti.
