about half a grunt per bolt ;-)
Usually on smallish 6mm bolts like that I make a general rule of thumb to
hold my ratchet high up on the handle (near the socket) so that I don't
accidentally over torque them. There are so many nuts on the cam cover that
they don't need to be very tight in order to get a good seal.
you're using a new rubber gasket right? The cork ones suck IME.
