I have had terrific luck with a product labeled as a "tire cleaner". All
chemical, no abrasives. A little paper towel work does help if is baked on. I
carry the stuff in my trunk for use at the car wash. I believe it is "A&W
Tire Cleaner". E-mail me direct and I'll take the time to look in the car.
