A mouse in the heater? (88 90q)

yes, my 90Q heater fan sqeaks a bit when its cold out.  Well, it did it
a lot last winter, but this "winter," if you call it that, it hasn't
much.  it also has a neat grinding noise when turning left.  A project I
am *not* looking forward to, since the fan is totally buried under the
dash on these cars (and costs $180 or so new).  The resistor pack that
provides the 1-2-3 speeds is not so tough to get to, if you've lost one
or more of these speeds.  It's behind the glove box, and even better,
it's an old VW part so it's cheap, like $20 or so.
