100 CSQ Stereo question

Good Morning,

I am almost the proud new owner of a 92 100CSQ and have a couple of
questions about the stereo.  I have a Bose system in the car and it seems
that the passenger side just hisses at me when the radio is turned on.  It
does not get louder with volume.  Do I need a new speaker or is it on of
those cool bose amps that need to be replaced?

The car is automatic and was wondering how often to change the fluid and if
you need to use a certain type?  If I could use a synthetic like redline or
Mobil I would like to, but I also understand that sometimes these things
don't play well together.
