I did a flush and fill on the original radiator on my 87 a while back, and =
the sludge in the cooling system that was loosened up by the flush ended up=
 clogging the radiator.  I originally did what you did (replacing the t-sta=
t, to no avail), and solution to the problem was a new radiator.
