$#%#$%^$ headlight switch dead

Hi all,

As soon as I got into my place in the traffic jam home tonight, I knew
something was wrong: I didn't see the reflection of my headlights on the
car in front of me. Oh, no... two bulbs out seemed improbable, and the
sinking feeling hit me: not another headlight switch dead, please!
The previous owner of my car had installed high-wattage bulbs and burnt out
the high-beam position. I'd found another switch in a scrapyard after much
searching (the post-'90 B3 rounded column switches like the one someone put
in my '87 aren't exactly common here!) and installed that. Connectors and
wiring looked fine. Everything worked for a while, until today. No low
beam, fuses and bulbs are OK. High beam and flash-to-pass work fine.

AAAAAAAAAAAARGH!

I know what I'll be doing Saturday...
