one thing about the endless tire threads... they are always "new," since
generally by the time they come up again (3-4 times/year?) there are new
tires to be discussed, and some listers usually seem to have experience
with all the new ones - and the old standbys.

How about separate lists for all the parts?  Engine, tranny, diffs
(incl. torsen), door handles, power locks, power windows, babies,
marriage and divorce, Audis in movies, Audis seen on the expressway,
dead cats, etc.......
