Don't know. I was searching for Hakka 2 last year, but the 2 Nokian
dealers I've talked said "donno." This year, Nokian has said in their web
site that Hakka 2 won't be coming to U.S. until further notice.
Last night at 1 a.m. (^: I've taken the 1-season-old Hakka 1 w/Eco Studs
for a spin as we finally got appreciatable amount of snowfall. With center
and rear diff locked, I chugged through the almost-deserted city street.
At least on fresh snow, it's quite decent -- even good -- on starting and
stopping. The turning grip is less satisfying. Although it's definitely
better than, say, 4-seasons tire in snow, the improvement in turning grip
wasn't as much as straight line grip.
Has anyone tried *current* Blizzak vs. the Nokians? How about Gislaved
Nord Frost? Hasn't heard much about that one on the list.
