Have you listened to two 8" woofers? I find the bass much more pleasurable
from dual 8" than I did with single or dual 10", because the woofers react
much more quickly. However, if you're into rap music (or something similarly
bass heavy), you won't be happy.

I had a dual JL Audio 10" sub, and it was a _ton_ of bass. I powered it with
a 100W RF Punch. You should check the impedance of the speakers. Most of the
JLs sold in enclosures are meant to be run together on a single amp (8 ohm).
You won't buy yourself anything except added expense if they're 8 ohm
speakers, compared to running them in series for 4 ohms into a capable amp.

That sub & amp belongs to another lister now, as I left it in my 5000 when I
sold it.
