Special Build Questions

On the CGT Special Build (aka 1987.5 CGT) the bumpers, mirrors, spoiler & pillars were body colored. The paint was chipping badly on mine while the PO had the car and he replaced the mirrors & bumpers with standard 1987 parts (flat black plastic). is there any difference in the parts themselves? I'm asking because she is going into the body shop for a full respray and I want these parts color matched to the body like they are supposed to be. So I need to know whether they need to be replaced...
