Intercooler question

Does anybody know if a VW Corrado G-60 intercooler
would be any better than an UrQ one?  I was looking at
one the other day and it is much thicker than my UrQ
one and looks like it might be made to fit in my UrQ.
It measures 7"x8"x5".  With my pending k-24 I am
thinking I might need more cooling out here in Vegas.
