And is the window number on the distributor only controlled by the open squares cut into the metal piece
that revolves? Is it as simple as replacing that metal piece with the correct number of squares cut out to
change hall sensor output style.
I think an option on some cars is to only grind off half of the flywheel tooth, the part that doesn't
necessarily come in contact with the starters gear. Assuming the half-tooth left didn't just break off from
being weak, one might have to offset the sensor from the stock location to actually detect the missing
tooth/piece.
I think someone offers an inductive type pickup for efi, perhaps it was Autronic? More random thoughts,
as usual. :-)
